Coming off a bye week and its most complete performance of the season, the Nebraska Wesleyan football team will host Briar Cliff University this Saturday (Oct. 23) in GPAC Football action at Abel Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 pm. LISTEN LIVE
It is homecoming on the NWU campus as the highlight of the weekend will be the football game between the Prairie Wolves and Chargers. Nebraska Wesleyan is 2-4 overall, while Briar Cliff brings a 2-5 record into Saturday's game.
NWU has not played since their impressive 27-20 upset over 25th-ranked Dakota Wesleyan on Oct. 9, as they won in the final minute on a punt return by Cody Eiler. Briar Cliff has lost two straight games after last week's 30-26 loss at Concordia.
