Football Teams Hosts DWU in Key GPAC Game Saturday

The Nebraska Wesleyan football team returns home this Saturday (Oct. 9) to host #25 Dakota Wesleyan University in a key Great Plains Athletic Conference game. Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and Tigers is set for 1 p.m., at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.  The game can be heard on KFOR 1240 AM or online at kfor1240.com with Dick Janda calling the action. LISTEN LIVE

NWU will face its fourth ranked opponent of the season this Saturday when they take on the Tigers. The Prairie Wolves are trying to bounce back from a 44-0 loss at No. 1 Sioux Falls last Saturday night in South Dakota. Dakota Wesleyan suffered its first loss of the season last week with a 21-19 setback to Midland. NWU is 1-4, while DWU brings a 3-1 record into the game.

Nebraska Wesleyan will be honoring the 2000 football team this Saturday as over 45 members of the GPAC Championship team will be attending the game.
