The Nebraska Wesleyan football team will open the 2010 season this Saturday (Sept. 4) when they travel to Seward, Neb., to face conference rival Concordia University. The Nebraska Wesleyan University football team was picked to finish seventh in the 2010 preseason GPAC Coaches' poll that was released on Tuesday (Aug. 3). The poll was voted on by all 11 coaches at the 11th Annual GPAC Media Day that was held at the Cornhusker Marriott Downtown in Lincoln.

Former Nebraska Wesleyan linebacker Noland Urban is selected to be inducted in the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame.

Head Coach Brian Keller has announced the names of 55 recruits who have said they will attend Nebraska Wesleyan University this fall and plan to participate in football for the Prairie Wolves.
