In High School: A two-year letterwinner in baseball at Lincoln East High School … played infield and pitcher for the Spartans … was honorable mention All-City as a senior in 2011 … a team captain … also lettered two years in football, serving as a team captain … led the Spartans to State Baseball Tournament in 2010 … named Academic All-State in baseball and football.
