2012: Appeared in four different games as a sophomore to earn his second letter … was used as a relief pitcher in two games, not allowing an earned run in either appearance … started at pitcher against Luther on Mar. 22 and went just one inning … also was a pinch hitter for two at-bats.

2011: Started three games on the mound to earn his first collegiate letter … only three appearances were starts … longest outing was on Spring Break trip against Williams on Mar. 22 … did not allow an earned run going 4 1/3 in his first start … battled arm problems to throw just eight innings on the year.

Academic: Biology major.

In High School: A First-Team All-State baseball player at Omaha Skutt High School … earned two letters in baseball for the Skyhawks … was the school’s leader in pitching wins and third in strikeouts … also earned All-Conference in baseball … had 86 strikeouts in spring high school season … named to Colin Orcutt All-Star team … helped team to two state tournament appearances … a two-time Academic All-State selection … also lettered in football.
