Nebraska Wesleyan's 2010 baseball season will have to wait until another week before the season is slated to get started. The games scheduled for March 2 at Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, Kan., have been postponed. Also, the home opener slated for Saturday March 6 against Buena Vista University has also been postponed.

Both the Manhattan Christian and Buena Vista doubleheaders will try to be rescheduled for another date later this season.

Nebraska Wesleyan is one of only two Great Plains Athletic Conference teams that have yet to play a game this season. The Prairie Wolves were the coaches pick to win the 2010 GPAC Championship after winning the 2009 GPAC Title.

The next scheduled game for Nebraska Wesleyan baseball is March 9 at York College in York, Neb. NWU also will play five games on a Spring Break Trip to Texas. The home opener for NWU baseball is now scheduled for March 27.
