Nebraska Wesleyan received the No. 3 seed for the 2012 GPAC Postseason Baseball Championships that will be played May 3-5 in Lincoln. The Prairie Wolves will face No. 6 Concordia University on Thursday (May 3) at 11:30 am at Sherman Field.

Doane College, the GPAC regular season champion, is the No. 1 seed in the GPAC Tournament. The Prairie Wolves and Bulldogs are in the same bracket as No. 2 Morningside College and No. 7 Mount Marty College. The winners of both games will play at 6:00 pm on Thursday at Haymarket Park with the losers meeting in an elimination game at 8:30 at Haymarket Park.

NWU and Concordia just faced each other on Saturday in the regular season finale as the two teams split. The Prairie Wolves and Bulldogs also played a nonconference game earlier this season with NWU winning as they have taken two of the three games.

The eight team double elimination tournament will take place at both Haymarket Park and Sherman Field. Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for students and are good for all day at both fields.
