Seven of Nebraska Wesleyan’s student-athletes competing in baseball, tennis and women’s golf have been Daktronics/NAIA All-America Scholar-Athletes.
In addition, the NWU men’s tennis team ranked No. 2 in the nation academically among the 2006 NAIA Scholar Teams, which met the award criteria. The Prairie Wolves combined for a GPA of 3.76, just behind Roberts Wesleyan University (3.79). To see the list, click here.
To be nominated individually, students must have reached junior status, been a contributor to his or her team and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 based on a 4.0 scale. Here is Nebraska Wesleyan’s list of recipients for 2006:
