2009 marks the fifth time that the Institute for International Education has recognized Nebraska Wesleyan University as one of the top 30 producers of Fulbright scholars among bachelor’s degree institutions. Four NWU students earned Fulbright scholarships for international study and teaching this year.
This year’s Fulbright scholars include Alicia Dallman (’09), who is studying in Spain; Andrea Duntz (’09), who is studying in Germany; Lacey Johnson (’09), who is also studying in Germany; and Maggie Mitteis (’09), who is studying in Poland.
This mark ties the university’s record high for Fulbright scholars in one year. It’s the fourth year since 2000 that four Nebraska Wesleyan students have taken home Fulbrights.
