Through a new partnership with Iowa Western Community College, Nebraska Wesleyan University now offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at IWCC’s campus in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and its center in Clarinda, Iowa.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program is offered in an accelerated format, meeting one night a week for eight weeks. Students may earn a BSN in approximately 18 months.
In Omaha, Nebraska Wesleyan has also added a Bachelor of Science degree in social work. This program is in addition to the social work offerings already established on NWU’s Lincoln campus.
The Omaha social work program is also offered in an accelerated format, meeting one night a week from 6 to 10 p.m. for five- and eight-week sessions. Classes are held at Nebraska Wesleyan’s Omaha site, located at 11815 M Street.
The social work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
