"The Department of Political Science houses some of the state's best professors. Their doors and minds are open to students wanting to discuss the issues of the day, ask questions or just chat. I was involved in every facet of the political science program: serving as president of PAC, coordinating the Bereuter Institute and working as an aide in the department office. While spending a semester in Washington, D.C., I realized that Wesleyan had prepared me to compete against and excel among students from all types of universities."

"The political science program at Nebraska Wesleyan helped me develop skills in critical thinking and written and oral communication—all vital to success in law school. While I had a strong interest in government and politics, I joined the political science department because of its small classes with high student participation and its faculty members, who were always available outside of class."

"A degree in political science from Nebraska Wesleyan provides excellent preparation for graduate school, law school or for a career in the political or governmental arena. I especially enjoyed the broad curriculum that allowed me to explore topics of personal interest, such as international politics, law and political philosophy. Overall, it's an exceptional program."
