Graduates from the Department of History have
pursued many career paths, ranging from law and government
service to historic preservation and library science. Many
continue their academic studies at some of the nation’s
top graduate and professional institutions.
| "The history professors
at Nebraska Wesleyan stand out from their colleagues at
other universities. Their encouragement
and keen ability as historians helped me succeed at Wesleyan
and gave me the tools and guidance to continue my studies
at the graduate level." |

| "As a history major
at Nebraska Wesleyan, I acquired valuable research and
writing skills and became a more analytical thinker and
writer. When I entered law school, I realized that my
skills are a cut above those of my fellow classmates—many
of whom attended larger schools on the East Coast." |
