Department graduates consistently become
successful teachers. But students aren’t limited to
careers in education; they also pursue careers in speech and
language therapy and instructional technology, or attend graduate or law school.
| “One reason I chose Nebraska Wesleyan University is that the department allows students to get into the classroom early on. Students know immediately whether or not teaching is right for them. Not many schools allow undergraduates to be in the classroom every semester.” |

| “The best thing about my experience at Wesleyan was the time I spent in the classrooms before student teaching. I felt so comfortable in the classroom, which is one of the most difficult obstacles to face as a new teacher. My education professors also continue to be a valuable part of professional network.” |
