Director’s Notes

The Cabaret Series is a new and exciting way to experience musical theatre at Nebraska Wesleyan University Theatre. We have so many talented students with so many great songs from the musical theatre song book they want to share that they can't all fit into one show. We have presented our Applause! Applause! series every other year for the past 8 years but we thought a more intimate setting would a wonderful way to get up close and personal with the cast. We have created a Cabaret cafe experience in our Studio Theatre at 2710 North 48th Street complete with tables, padded chairs and refreshments. The Cabaret series is made possible with support from PJ's Baby Cakes and MoJava Coffee - our neighbors in University Place.

We hope you will spend an evening with songs of Broadway and enjoy freshly brewed coffee from MoJava, delightfully delicious PJs BabyCakes, cookies and brownie bites from The Cookie Company, bottled water and canned sodas. Hope to see you at the Cabaret!

The Cabaret is organized by Dan P. Hays, Musical Theatre Coordinator.
