Our culture abounds with pop-psychology. But there’s more to the field of psychology than dream interpretation, Zoloft and episodes of Dr. Phil.

Psychology students at NWU get past the pop to study behavior and mental processes. Whether it’s lab experiments on the neurological effects of alcohol to survey studies of body type preferences in married couples, the science here is real and relevant. And the experiences are hands-on.

The Psychology Department is located on the third floor of the Smith-Curtis Classroom-Administration Building.
