Pre-Nursing Department
The Pre-Nursing Department offers courses to prepare students to enroll in a basic nursing program through another school. NWU nursing students typically enroll in prerequisite courses in psychology, sociology and microbiology.
A pre-nursing advisor can discuss nursing school options. Some students elect to attend community college registered nurse programs and then return to NWU to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Students who return to Nebraska Wesleyan after earning their registered nurse license are able to work full time and attend class one time per week to earn their degree.
