Pre-Nursing Advising

in
  • Pre-Nursing Department

The Pre-Nursing Advisor offers assistance in enrollment in courses to prepare students to enroll in a basic nursing program at another school. NWU pre-nursing students typically enroll in prerequisite courses such as psychology, sociology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology.

A pre-nursing advisor can discuss nursing school options. Some students elect to attend community college registered nurse programs and then return to NWU to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Students who return to Nebraska Wesleyan after earning their registered nurse license are able to work full time and attend class one time per week to earn their degree.

The Pre-Nursing Advisors are located in Burt Hall South.
