2012 Wesleyan Honors Festival

High school students involved in choir, orchestra or band are invited to audition for the Wesleyan Honors Festival, to be held on the Nebraska Wesleyan campus February 9, 10 and 11, 2012.

Selected students earn the opportunity to work alongside seasoned guest artists.

  • Orchestral guest artist: Kirk Moss, national president of the American String Teachers Association
  • Band guest artist: Anthony Maiello, conductor of musical activities for the gold medal ceremonies of the 1980 Winter Olympics
  • Choral guest artist: Tim Fredstrom, Assistant Director of the Illinois State University School of Music and Associate Professor of Choral Music Education. In 2009 Mr. Fredstrom conductor of the Illinois Music Educators All-State Chorus.
