Global Studies Program

Nebraska Wesleyan focuses on global education across departments. Our general education curriculum is titled “Preparing for Global Citizenship.” We choose our forum speakers, campus events, courses, faculty and international education offerings with this global focus in mind.

Global studies majors and minors choose from the following emphasis areas:

  • Asia
  • development studies
  • foreign policy
  • industrialized nations
  • Latin America

Modern language studies are required of all global studies majors and minors.

As an interdisciplinary program, global studies classes are held all over campus and taught by professors from a variety of academic departments.
