Degrees Offered
Bachelor of Arts
Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees are academically equivalent within the department. The vast majority of students with an Accounting or Business Administration major choose the B.S. degree. The Economics major is traditionally viewed as a liberal arts major and therefore students often choose the B.A. degree. If a student chooses to graduate with two majors, and one major is only offered as a B.A or B.S., the second major should match the first major’s degree. The business administration program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs for the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees with a major in Business Administration.
