Pharmacy applicants to University of Nebraska Medical Center or Creighton University are strongly encouraged to take a balance of electives which are consistent with a liberal arts education, while pursuing depth of study as typically demonstrated by a discipline major. Preferred applicants will demonstrate an academic record that reflects a balance of course work in the humanities and the social and natural sciences.

Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 is required in overall coursework, and a minimum GPA of 3.0 in required coursework areas.

Other pharmacy schools may have different requirements. The NWU pre-health advisor, academic advisors, and the NWU Career and Counseling Center can aid in determining these requirements.
