Parents > Admissions

Students who rank in the top half of their graduating class or achieve an ACT composite score of 20 or an SAT 1 combined score of 950 are invited to apply. Nebraska Wesleyan offers two opportunities for applying for admission.

Early Action
The Early Action program is for students who have determined that Nebraska Wesleyan is their first choice. Early Action applicants apply by Nov. 15 and receive notification of their admission status and scholarship/financial aid eligibility on Dec. 15. Early Action applicants must respond to the offers of admission and financial aid by Jan. 15.

Regular Decision
Students who are considering other colleges may apply through the Regular Decision program. Regular Decision applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, but no later than May 1. Regular Decision candidates will be notified regarding admission and scholarship eligibility on a rolling basis after Jan. 15.

How to Apply
There are six steps to admission at Nebraska Wesleyan University. If you need help along the way, contact the Admissions Office anytime at 800.541.3818, ext. 2218 or admissions@nebrwesleyan.edu. For more complete information on the admissions process, visit our admissions website.

Step One: Apply
Apply for admission to Nebraska Wesleyan.

Step Two: Visit
Students are highly encouraged to visit campus and experience life at NWU first-hand. Campus visits include tours of campus, individual meetings with professors and coaches, financial aid assistance, and more. Schedule a visit online or by contacting the Admissions Office. Please schedule your visit two weeks in advance.

Step Three: Submit
As soon as possible after February 1, students should complete a FAFSA using the family's tax return information for the previous year. The online form requires a personal identification number (PIN). You may request your PIN at www.pin.ed.gov. Be sure to write the full name of Nebraska Wesleyan University and our college code-002555-in the college release and certification section of the FAFSA.

Step Four: Respond
If your student applied under Early Action, he or she should respond to offers of admission, scholarships, and financial aid by January 15. Beginning March 15, Nebraska Wesleyan will send financial aid award letters to applicants who applied under the Regular Decision program (after November 15). Students should respond to their offer by the deadline listed at the top of the letter.

Step Five: Deposit
Students should submit admissions deposits to accept offers of admission, scholarships, and financial aid.

Step Six: Register
Your son or daughter will attend a Summer Registration Session to register for classes.
