Greater Omaha Club
Welcome to the Nebraska Wesleyan University Greater Omaha Club! Omaha-area alumni, friends and parents of Nebraska Wesleyan have formed this organization to help promote awareness, understanding, involvement and enthusiasm for the University in our community. The focus of our efforts will be:
- To support recruitment of top high school students from the greater Omaha area
- To expand career preparation and networking strategies for current students
- To provide networking and socialization opportunities for alumni, parents and friends
- To support Nebraska Wesleyan’s student programs, including cultural and athletic events taking place in the greater Omaha area
- To assist in identifying individuals and corporations to target with fundraising strategies
- To have fun!
Club Membership
Membership is open to all Wesleyan alumni,
friends and current parents living within a 50-mile radius
of Omaha.
During the 2005-06 academic year, the Club
is focusing on the following four initiatives:
- Hosting a send-off party for new NWU students from the Omaha area (August 15, 2005)
- Sponsoring four Wesleyan After Work networking/social events
- Planning and implementing activities to promote the Wesleyan experience to high school counselors, prospective students, and their families

Club Handbook and Bylaws
Nebraska Wesleyan has developed a complete handbook outlining guidelines for regional clubs. Additionally, the Greater Omaha Club has adopted a set of bylaws.
