LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - While the snow fell, baseball was being played indoors on Thursday afternoon in Lincoln. Dozens of kids were learning the game from Nebraska Wesleyan players and coaches at the Malone Center, during the first of four winter clinics.
Participants were taught basic fundamentals, while playing games and getting to spend time with local college student-athletes. NWU players say they enjoyed the experience and look forward to giving back to the community in future weeks.
Each kid in attendance received a glove, ball, and free t-shirt.
